JOB DESCRIPTION: QC MICROBIOLOGIST

Location: Daman, Gujarat
Department: Quality Control – Microbiology
Employment Type: Full-Time
Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Microbiology or Biotechnology
Experience: 1–2 Years (Freshers may also apply)
Salary: Freshers: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on skills & interview)
Experienced Candidates: Salary based on current CTC and interview performance
Only candidates who have completed their education and are ready to relocate to Daman, Gujarat should apply.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform sterility testing, Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET), and Microbial Limit Tests for raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
· Conduct Growth Promotion Tests (GPT) and bioburden testing of bulk and in-process samples.
· Carry out routine environmental monitoring of clean rooms (viable & non-viable) and personnel monitoring.
· Perform microbiological analysis of water systems (WFI / PW).
· Prepare, sterilize, label, and manage culture media, including storage and shelf-life control.
· Handle, maintain, and dispose of microbial cultures in compliance with GMP.
· Operate, clean, and maintain microbiology equipment such as LAF, BOD incubators, and autoclaves.
· Ensure instrument calibration and qualification status.
· Maintain cleanliness, aseptic conditions, personal hygiene, and gowning compliance in microbiology areas.
· Complete and maintain GMP-compliant documentation and laboratory records.
