Job Overview
The Genome Analyst – NGS Wet Lab role focuses on executing NGS wet lab workflows
for genomic diagnostics and research.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Perform NGS wet lab workflows, including DNA extraction, quantification, and
quality assessment.
• Carry out library preparation for WES and WGS.
• Assist in operation and monitoring of NGS sequencing platforms (Illumina / Thermo
Ion Torrent or equivalent).
• Perform primary QC checks for libraries and sequencing runs.
• Troubleshoot wet lab issues related to library quality and sequencing output.
• Follow GLP, SOPs, and quality control standards strictly.
• Maintain laboratory documentation, batch records, and logs.
• Coordinate with bioinformatics and reporting teams for data handover.
• Support protocol validation and workflow optimization activities.
Required Qualifications
• M.Sc. in Human Genetics, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or
related Life Sciences.
