Job Overview:
The Executive – Analytical Development role supports pharmaceutical R&D activities by ensuring cGMP compliance, developing and validating analytical methods, and executing extractables and leachables studies for packaging materials. This Executive Jobs position involves extensive hands-on analytical work, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration within Sun Pharma’s regulated research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in compliance with cGMP requirements and regulatory guidelines
- Develop analytical methods for extractable and leachable compounds
- Perform method validation and verification for E&L studies
- Execute extractables and leachables studies using GC, GC-MS, HPLC, LC-MS, ICP, ICP-MS, IR, and UV techniques
- Conduct identification, investigation, and troubleshooting activities
- Perform chemical analyses including extraction, refluxing, centrifugation, evaporation, and residue on ignition
- Prepare study templates, E&L reports, and analytical validation protocols
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, KF titrator, osmometer, zeta sizer, UV-spectrometer, and balances
- Maintain proper documentation using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Educational Requirements:
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences
- 2–4 years of relevant industry experience in pharmaceutical analytical development
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of analytical development and E&L studies
- Hands-on experience with chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques
- Understanding of cGMP and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in analytical instrumentation and laboratory practices
- Strong documentation, reporting, and MS Office skills
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
