Key Responsibilities
- Act as unit quality in-charge to sustain and improve quality systems
- Conduct end-line inspections as per GFPS standards
- Perform RM/PM inspections and sensory evaluations
- Lead root cause investigations for quality issues
- Develop capability of unit quality teams
- Ensure implementation of quality and food safety standards
- Plan and conduct internal audits and FSMS reviews
- Handle QC holds, deviations, and reworked materials
- Ensure timely MIS reporting to stakeholders
- Support cross-functional teams for smooth production
- Develop and execute quality training calendars
- Manage ISO 9001 / ISO 22000 certification activities
- Drive CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor safety and environmental KPIs
Qualification
- B.Tech/ MSc/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Food technology/ Microbiology
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Systems on Food Processing / FMCG –Food /Alco -Bev Industry
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge of quality management systems, developing quality related SOPs and its control
- Experience in handling quality improvement projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Train the trainer certified (TOT)
- Understanding of Food safety compliances
- Certified Internal/lead auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22k 6.0
