Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Research Associate based in Ahmedabad. The
selected candidate will support day-to-day molecular research and diagnostic laboratory
operations. Responsibilities include performing laboratory experiments, data collection and
analysis, report preparation, and assisting in ongoing research and diagnostic studies. The
role also involves maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate documentation, and
collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet research and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform molecular biology experiments and NGS library preparation
• Assist in routine molecular diagnostic testing and research activities
• Collect, analyze, and document experimental and test data accurately
• Maintain laboratory instruments, equipment, and consumables
• Follow quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory safety protocols
• Prepare reports and support ongoing research or validation studies
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
Qualifications & Skills
• Strong knowledge of Molecular Biology techniques and NGS library preparation
• Mandatory 1–2 years of hands-on experience in NGS or Molecular Laboratory
(Relevant internship experience of at least 6 months may be considered)
• Experience working in a Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory is preferred
• Excellent wet lab skills with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of laboratory testing, equipment handling, and quality assurance
• Good organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and guidelines
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular
Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related discipline from a recognized
university/institute
