Job Overview
The role involves a high level of technical and clinical oversight, specifically monitoring laboratory data for subjects enrolled in clinical studies.
Essential Functions:
- Daily Lab Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate laboratory results on a daily basis from sponsor-designated central laboratories.
- Data Analysis: Evaluate and analyze laboratory data at agreed frequencies using eDC platforms and data management systems.
- Clinical Review: Conduct preliminary reviews of results against protocol-specific reference ranges and compare current values with prior data to identify clinically significant shifts.
- Site Interaction: Interface with investigator sites to obtain pertinent additional clinical information for the project team.
- Trend Identification: Use clinical experience to identify potentially significant trends or shifts in lab results and alert IQVIA Medical Advisors.
- Departmental Liaison: Serve as the primary link between the Medical Services Department, the central laboratory, and the internal project team.
- Administrative Support: Assist Lead Medical Surveillance Specialists with project set-up activities and attend team meetings as required.
Qualifications and Experience
