Key Responsibilities & Job Description
The selected candidate will handle the technical lifecycle of medical devices, from installation to disposal.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on biomedical equipment under supervision and assist in minor repairs, functional testing, and troubleshooting.
- Installation Support: Assist in unpacking, positioning, and connecting biomedical devices during installation and participate in pre-dispatch and post-installation checks.
- Documentation & Logs: Maintain detailed logs for equipment usage, breakdowns, service calls, and calibration; update daily reports and safety forms.
- Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with site stores for the retrieval and issuance of biomedical spares and accessories.
- Spare Parts Tracking: Track the return of faulty parts and follow up on replacements to ensure minimal downtime.
- Standard Compliance: Follow SOPs for equipment handling, movement, and disposal while adhering strictly to safety instructions.
Qualifications & Required Skills
