Job Overview: 

The Associate Analyst – Supplier Compliance role is based in Mumbai and follows a hybrid work model with up to 10% travel. The position supports Colgate Palmolive’s responsible sourcing agenda by managing compliance programs related to climate action, deforestation, and human rights. The Associate Analyst works closely with global procurement teams and suppliers to validate claims, manage data, and ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, BioChemistry, or a related field
  • Experience: 0–3 years of experience in Procurement, Supplier Compliance, Supply Chain, or Sustainability data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate environmental and ethical claims for regulatory compliance
  • Manage compliance data and documentation with high accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather supplier data
  • Communicate with suppliers to collect required compliance documents
  • Assess supplier adherence to sustainability and ethical standards
  • Continuously adopt updated methodologies and compliance practices

Skills Required:

  • Strong foundation in environmental science or biochemistry
  • Good proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Excel; comfort learning specialized platforms (e.g., SAP, Sedex, Alchemer).
  • Ability to manage large datasets with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of sustainability, supplier compliance, or responsible sourcing
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
