Project Details:
- Title of the Research Project: “Development of nanostructured MoS2 based SERS and FET biosensors for ultrasensitive detection of biomarkers for Cerebral Ischemia”
- Principal Investigator: Dr Rehan Khan (Scientist-D) and Dr Kiran Shankar Hazra (Scientist-E)

Fellowship Details:
- ₹31,000/- per month + HRA (for candidates qualified through CSIR-UGC NET / GATE or equivalent)
- ₹25,000/- per month + HRA (for candidates without NET/GATE qualification)
- Tenure: 6 months (Extendable based on performance of the candidate and availability of project funds)
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc./M.Tech in Biotechnology, Biosciences, Life Sciences, Nanoscience, and Nanotechnology.
- National Eligibility Tests—CSIR-UGC-NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
- A selection process through national-level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions.
Desirable Experience: 1 year’s experience in nanoscience and nanotechnology will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and development of nanostructured biosensors
- Experimental execution related to SERS and FET platforms
- Data analysis and documentation of research outcomes
- Supporting project milestones and reporting activities
Skills Required:
- Background in nanoscience and nanotechnology (desirable)
- Understanding of biosensor-based research
- Strong analytical and experimental skills
- Ability to work independently and in a research team
