Role Overview:

The Junior Scientist – Toxicologist will support toxicological evaluations, safety assessments, and regulatory documentation for substances, products, or formulations handled by AAL. The role involves laboratory-based and desk-based toxicology work, data interpretation, report writing, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences,
Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in toxicology, safety
assessment, or related scientific roles.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Toxicology & Scientific Activities Conduct toxicological evaluations and risk
assessments for chemicals, intermediates, APIs, formulations, or biological materials.
• Perform literature reviews, data mining, and interpretation of toxicological studies
(acute, sub chronic, chronic, genotoxicity, carcinogenicity, reproductive toxicity, etc.).
• Assist in designing and reviewing non-clinical safety studies as per regulatory
guidelines.
• Evaluate in vitro, in vivo, and alternative testing data where applicable.
• Support hazard identification, dose-response assessment, exposure assessment, and
risk characterization.
