Job Overview:
The Technologist Expert is responsible for leading onsite microbiological validation tests for aseptic, ultraclean, and hot-fill equipment, ensuring all validation protocols are met and equipment is released for commercial production in compliance with hygiene and sterility standards.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Degree in Food Technology, or Microbiology
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute onsite microbiological validation tests
- Prepare equipment based on contractual validation protocols
- Coordinate with customer laboratory teams during project execution
- Support service teams during audits, maintenance, and DV activities
- Perform troubleshooting for sterility or contamination issues
- Identify root causes of microbiological failures
- Evaluate hygienic status of equipment post-maintenance
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of aseptic and sensitive product technologies
- Understanding of microbiological validation protocols
- HACCP knowledge
- Familiarity with beverage and processing equipment
- Knowledge of microbial families and behavior
