Junior Research Fellow (JRF-1) – 01 Post
Job Overview:
The project aims to study IGF-1R signalling in therapy-induced senescence escape in breast cancer cells. The role involves cell and molecular biology work, biochemical assays, and animal handling. Contractual position until December 2025.
- Project Title: “Exploring the role of insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor IGF-1R signalling in escape from therapy-induced senescence—a novel therapeutic target to prevent adaptive resistance in breast cancers.”
- Fellowship: Rs 37,000/p.m. + HRA (if hostel not provided).
- Duration of the Project: 1 year (temporary), can be extended further based on satisfactory performance in the first year.
- Age Limit: 28 years.
Educational Requirements:
- 4-year program/Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE/BTech
- Minimum 55% marks
- NET/GATE qualification mandatory
