Job Overview:
This contract position is based in the Global Genotyping (GG-Biotechnology) Lab, Medak District, Telangana. The role focuses on delivering high-quality molecular marker genotyping data using advanced automated and high-throughput systems. Candidates will support plant tissue sampling, DNA extraction, genotyping workflows, and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
Educational Requirements:
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related life science fields
- 2–3 years of industrial experience preferred
- Equivalent education and experience combinations are acceptable
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct plant tissue sampling as per SOPs, ensuring sample integrity
- Support high-throughput DNA extraction and genotyping workflows
- Operate automated liquid handling systems
- Maintain accurate lab records, QC documentation, and LIMS entries
- Track issues and collaborate with team members and lab leaders
- Handle sample shipping, receiving, and process documentation
Skills Required:
- Hands-on experience with PCR techniques and analytical tools
- Strong understanding of basic molecular biology workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot high-throughput lab processes
- High attention to detail & strong documentation skills
- Excellent team collaboration and communication abilities
