Project & Position Details
- Position: Research Associate-I
- Number of Positions: Two
- Emoluments: ₹ 58,000/- + HRA per month.
- Project 1: SERB-SPR Multi-Institutional project on AI/ML model-based precision breeding for water-productive rice.
- Project 2: SERB-CRG project investigating Mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) in regulating rice photosynthesis.
- Duration: Initial appointment for one year, extendable based on performance and project tenability.
Qualifications & Expertise
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this NIPGR recruitment:
- Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in any branch of Biological/Life Sciences or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Compliance: Must fulfill guidelines as per DST-OM dated 26/06/2023.
- Desirable Experience:
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Hands-on experience in genetic transformation and gene editing (CRISPR/Cas9) in Rice.
- Expertise in protein-protein interactions and kinase assays.
