Job Overview
The Assistant Quality Manager is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS). This Microbiology job involves overseeing both chemical and microbiological laboratories to ensure the integrity of liquid manufacturing processes. You will serve as the site’s subject matter expert on HACCP principles, ensuring 100% compliance with government authorities like the FDA.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems Implementation: Execute the Quality Management System (QMS) and standards to sustain external accreditation and GMP practices.
- Risk Management: Identify plant-level risks and implement HACCP principles to guarantee product safety.
- Lab Oversight: Manage the chemical and microbiological labs, equipping them with the latest precision instruments for process validation.
- Audit & Compliance: Conduct self-inspections, quality audits, and sequential operational tests to investigate out-of-specification inputs.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for FDA and central regulatory bodies to ensure 100% compliance.
- People Development: Coach and develop staff to build a performance-oriented quality function.
Qualifications & Skills

- Education: M.Sc. Microbiology
