Job Description – Quality Control Microbiologist

Location: Daman, Gujarat, India

Experience: Freshers to 2 Years
Salary: ₹18,000–₹25,000 per month for freshers (based on skills); experienced candidates – salary as per current CTC.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform microbiological testing as per GMP and regulatory guidelines
· Conduct Sterility Testing, Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET), and Environmental Monitoring (EM)
· Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions in sterile manufacturing areas
· Operate, calibrate, and maintain microbiology laboratory equipment
· Prepare, review, and maintain test records, logbooks, and laboratory documentation
· Analyze microbiological data and report deviations, OOS, and OOT results
· Ensure compliance with WHO-GMP and sterile manufacturing standards
· Support audits, investigations, CAPA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Knowledge
· Strong understanding of Quality Control microbiology principles
· Mandatory hands-on knowledge of BET, Sterility Testing, and Environmental Monitoring
· Good knowledge of GMP guidelines and sterile pharmaceutical operations
· Proficiency in aseptic techniques and laboratory practices
· Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
· High attention to detail and compliance-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
· B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology or a related life sciences discipline
