Position 1: Project Associate-I

  • Project title: “Development of high-throughput screening assays to identify antivirals targeting multiple stages of henipavirus life cycle” under
  • PI: Dr. Madhuri Subbiah & Dr. Nagendra R. Hegde.
  • Duration: Initially a period of six months.
  • Pay: Consolidated pay of INR 32,300 p.m., including 27% HRA.
  • Upper Age Limit: 35 years

Eligibility Criteria: Master’s degree in natural or agricultural sciences from a recognized university or equivalent.

  • Candidates with prior experience in molecular techniques involving cell culture handling and molecular cloning experiences will be preferred.

Position 2: Project Technical Support-III

  • Project Title: ‘X-ray crystal structure determination of V protein and its complexes from Nipah virus and Newcastle disease virus, structure-guided screening and validation of potential anti-V drugs.’
  • PI: Dr. Madhuri Subbiah.
  • Duration: One year initially, which may be renewed based on performance.
  • Fellowship: Rs.28,000/- p.m. + HRA 30%.
  • Upper Age Limit: 30 years

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduate in Life Sciences with 3 years research experience
  • OR M.Sc. Life Sciences with 1 year post-PG experience
