Project Overview
The Project Associate job is centered on the project: “Elucidating the role of Cdk-related kinases (Crk7, Crk9, and Crk11) mediating transcript maturation in the asexual developmental stages of Toxoplasma gondii.”
This research aims to understand how specific kinases regulate the maturation of transcripts, which is vital for the parasite’s development and survival. Successful candidates will utilize advanced molecular biology techniques to unravel these complex biological processes.

- Age Limit: 35 years.
- Tenure: Initially for six months, with a likelihood of extension based on performance and project duration.
Eligibility & Requirements
To qualify for this Biotechnology Job, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Microbiology from a recognized university.
- Preferred Skills: Candidates with prior experience in molecular parasitology and techniques such as gene cloning and protein purification will be given preference.
Fellowship & Benefits
The emoluments for this Project Associate job are categorized as follows:
- NET/GATE Qualified: ₹31,000 + 24% HRA (For those who have cleared national level examinations conducted by Central Government agencies).
- Non-NET/GATE: ₹25,000 + HRA.
