Position Details
- Designation: PROJECT ASSISTANT
- Location: Central University of Punjab, Ghudda
- Salary: Rs. 25,000 Per Month (fixed)
- Tenure: Temporary and co-terminus with the project (initially for 1 year, renewable up to 3 years).
- Age Limit: Must not exceed 35 years on the last date of application.

Essential Qualification
- M.Tech or M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Agriculture
- Mandatory: Experience in Teaching/Research/Industry.

- Innovation Focus: Strong interest and passion for research and innovation; applying knowledge towards the creation of an enterprise for nurturing technology innovation/entrepreneurship.
- Management Skills: Work experiences/qualifications in business management, IP management, project management, tech transfer, or incubation.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in analytical instruments, working in a BSL-2 laboratory, and animal handling.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with experience in scientific writing/content development.
- Travel: Must be open to travelling for organizing summit/collaborative and outreach programs.
Key Job Description
The incumbent acts as a project assistant, reporting directly to the Project Coordinator/Chief Coordinator/Principal Project Investigators. Responsibilities include:
- Administrative Support: Monitoring laboratory instruments, purchasing, project finance, day-to-day activities, and documentation.
- Event Management: Executing and organizing seminars, workshops, etc.
- Entrepreneurship Support: Helping the project coordinator in activities related to writing research proposals/pitches/business plans, and fundraising.
