Job Details:
- Project Title: Breeding for high-yielding elite soybean cultivars with climate/disease resilience and end-use quality traits by multi-parent hybridization and genomic-assisted selection
- Funding Agency: Department of Biotechnology (DBT)

- Project Duration: Up to 31 August 2027
- Monthly Stipend: ₹26,000 (Fixed)
Educational Requirements:
Essential Qualification:

M.Sc. in Biotechnology or Genetics and Plant Breeding
Desirable Experience:
- GWAS
- KASP assays
- Large-scale DNA extraction
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in genetics and plant breeding research activities
- Support genomic-assisted selection studies
- Perform DNA extraction and molecular assays
- Assist in data collection and research documentation
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of plant genetics and breeding
- Experience in GWAS and KASP assays
- Molecular biology techniques
- Research data handling and analysis
