Job Summary
The Quality Control Executive is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance
throughout the dispatch process. The role includes monitoring critical control points, ensuring adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, FSSAI, GMP), coordinating with the
production/dispatch teams, maintaining documentation, and driving continuous improvement through CAPA.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular audits of the dispatch process and related documentation to ensure
compliance with quality standards.
• Inspect products before dispatch and verify documentation for accuracy and
completeness.
• Develop and implement QA procedures, SOPs, and protocols for the dispatch team.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective
actions.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of QC activities and audit findings for
management review.
• Ensure adherence to all internal quality standards and regulatory guidelines (FSSAI,
HACCP, GMP).
• Provide training and guidance to staff on QA protocols and food safety best practices.
• Collaborate with dispatch, production, and other departments to maintain consistent
product quality.
• Oversee inward and outward material coordination.
• Manage batch clearance and product release activities.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure hygiene and transport standards.
• Monitor temperature control during storage and dispatch.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as required.
Requirements
• Education: B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech in Microbiology, Food Technology, or related field
• Experience: 0–1 year in QA/QC within the food processing industry
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (FSSAI), HACCP, GMP
• Familiarity with lab/testing equipment and documentation practices
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-floor environment
• Willingness to work in shifts
