Job Overview:
The System Account Manager is a field-based sales role responsible for managing and growing customer accounts across pharma, biopharma, food, and academic sectors. The position involves promoting HPLC, LC-MS, and informatics solutions, delivering technical consultations, organizing seminars, and driving customer success through solution-based selling in assigned territories.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related life science disciplines
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop new and existing customer accounts across pharma, biopharma, food, environmental, and academia sectors
- Promote Waters’ HPLC, LC-MS, and informatics solutions
- Conduct regular customer visits within the assigned territory
- Organize and deliver technical seminars and workshops
- Provide high-quality technical and commercial advice to ensure customer success
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, service, chemistry operations, and informatics
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of liquid chromatography and sample preparation
- Technical background in analytical technologies such as LC and MS
