Project Details
- Project Title: A Novel Nano-Herbal Formulation for the Amelioration of Neurodegeneration – Human Cell Based In-Vitro Approach

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-vitro experiments using human cell-based systems
- Study nano-formulation-based reversal of neurodegeneration
- Apply molecular biology techniques for data generation and analysis
- Contribute to manuscript preparation and publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with other research laboratories within and outside Presidency University
Essential Qualification
M.Sc. (any discipline of Life Sciences) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized board/University; UGC-CSIR JRF/NET-LS or GATE qualified and prior research experience in cell culture, drug design and delivery systems, Molecular docking and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations
Age Limit
JRF – 28 Years
Age Relaxation
The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Rs. 37,000/- p.m.

- Interested candidates must email i) their current CV including their contact number ii) a 250-word research statement including any past research experience and motivation for this project iii) name and email id or phone number of at least one referee, who can provide feedback on their academic background, to the PI ([email protected]) on or before December 21st, 2025, 5 pm.
- The candidate must bring with them on Dec 23rd, 2025, i) hard copy of their CV ii) write-up and iii) original mark sheets/grade cards for B.Sc. and M.Sc., NET/GATE scorecard/rank card/certificate of award.
- Self-attested xerox copies of the original will also be accepted subject to verification of the original on a later date if the candidate is selected.
