Job Details:
This JRF vacancy is offered under the CSIR GATE scheme. Candidates selected for the award of JRF-GATE will be eligible for fellowship after getting registered/enrolled for the AcSIR PhD program at CSIR-CSMCRI.
Fellowship Details:
- JRF-GATE Stipend: ₹37,000/- per month for the first two years
- Annual Contingent Grant: ₹20,000/- per fellow (payable to University/Institution)
- Upgradation: After two years, upgraded to SRF (GATE) with ₹42,000/- per month (based on assessment)
- HRA: As per institute rules
- Maximum Duration: 5 years (as per HRDG guidelines)
- Opportunity to register for PhD program (AcSIR)
Essential Qualifications:

Candidates with a B.Tech in Biotechnology with a valid GATE score and a minimum 85.00 percentile in GATE.
