Role Overview
Accures IP Care is seeking a motivated Biotechnologist to join the Intellectual Property (IP) and legal support team. The role involves providing technical expertise in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences to assist attorneys and IP professionals in patent-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct detailed technical research in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences.
· Assist in patent drafting, patentability assessments, and prior art searches.
· Review scientific literature, research disclosures, and existing patents.
· Prepare clear and concise technical summaries, reports, and supporting documents.
· Collaborate with attorneys to translate scientific concepts into legally compliant documentation.
· Ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness in all technical inputs.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related fields.
· Strong research, analytical, and technical writing skills.
· Ability to understand, interpret, and document scientific content accurately.
· Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
· Basic understanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) or patents (added advantage, not mandatory).
· Experience with patent search databases or scientific search tools is a plus.
