Key Responsibilities

Microbiological Testing & Analysis
• Conduct microbial limit tests, sterility tests, endotoxin tests, and preservative efficacy tests as per SOPs.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of microbial samples.
• Execute water testing, air sampling, surface testing, and environmental monitoring. -
Culture Handling
• Maintain microbial cultures, media preparation, sterilization, and inoculation processes.
• Perform identification of microorganisms using biochemical methods and other advanced techniques. -
Laboratory Operations
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of microbiology lab instruments (Autoclave, Laminar Air Flow, Incubators, BOD, etc.).
• Maintain aseptic conditions and follow laboratory safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
• B.Sc / M.Sc in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or related fields.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, FMCG, or diagnostics microbiology lab.
• Strong understanding of microbiological techniques and regulatory standards.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle lab equipment and follow aseptic methods.
