Title of the Project: [SIT08020SNC] Development of Recombinant Cocoonase from
Bombyx mori and Samia ricini as a Scalable and Sustainable Degumming Agent for Silk
Fibroin Processing

- Duration: Jan 2026-Dec 2028
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics/ Molecular Genetics/ Sericulture/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
- Desirable: Experience in Biomaterial Technology OR Molecular biology will be preferred.
Title of the Project: [BPS08021SNC] Development of Silk Fibroin based composite scaffolds for bone regeneration

- Duration: Jan 2026-Dec 2028
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics/ Molecular Genetics/ Sericulture/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
- Desirable: Experience in Molecular Biology OR Protein Chemistry will be preferred.
- Emoluments: Junior Research Fellow @ 21,000/- per month + admissible HRA (JRF with NET/GATE @ 31,000/- per month + admissible HRA)
- Age Limit: 35 years as on 12.01.2026. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC, Women, and physically challenged candidates.
