The Chennai City Urban Health Mission proposes to engage following staff to work
in various health care facilities of Greater Chennai Corporation and other Government
facilities on an 11 months contractual basis. The details of vacancies are given below:
Designation: Microbiologist
Nos required: 01
Essential Qualifications: Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Microbiology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biomedical Sciences with Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in |Medical
Microbiology /Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biomedical Sciences.
Experience required: >3 years’ experience of working in clinical microbiology laboratory services/ public health program after obtaining post-graduation degree/PhD.
Age Limit: Not Exceeding 50 Years*
*Relaxation in age for retired Government Employees will be as per DoPT Guidelines.
Remuneration per Month (In Rs.): 40,000
Conditions of recruitment
- Contract Period is for 11 months only and it is purely on temporary basis.
- The Chennai City Urban Health Mission Administration reserves the right not to
specify any reason for such termination.

The Shortlisted Candidates will be called for an interview, which will be informed
later following scrutiny of the application. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the
interview. The selected candidates need to enter into an agreement with Chennai City
Urban Health Mission.
