Position Details

  • Position: Pharmacopoeial Associate

  • Nature of Post: Contractual through an outsourcing agency for an initial period of one year.
  • Salary: ₹ 35,000/- per month (Consolidated)
  • Age Limit: 23–35 years (Relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority).
  • Tenure: One year; subject to performance review.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Post-Graduate Degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or  Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.

  • Technical Knowledge: * Familiarity with National and International guidelines for cell & gene therapy and biological therapeutic products.
    • Proficiency in using modern analytical instruments: HPLC, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, Western Blot, ELISA, Gel electrophoresis, and Cell culture methods.
    • Good knowledge of computer applications.

Job Description & Responsibilities

The selected associates will be involved in high-level analytical and regulatory work:

  • Analysis: Testing of biotechnology-derived therapeutic products, vaccines, and related formulations.
  • Methodology: Method development and validation for biological products.
  • Regulatory Writing: Drafting and updating monographs and chapters for the Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP).
