Job Overview:
The Trainee—Molecular Biology will perform key laboratory activities including sample reception, sample preparation, experiment execution, analysis as per SOPs, maintaining logbooks, monitoring equipment, and supporting accreditation readiness. The trainee follows NABL, APEDA, EIC, and BV Quality Assurance guidelines.
Educational Requirements:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Microbiology
- 0–2 years of experience in food molecular biological analysis
- Experience in an NABL-accredited lab is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily molecular biology lab tasks as per work plans
- Assist senior staff with experiments and workflow execution
- Follow protocols and SOPs without deviation
- Conduct DNA/Protein biomarker detection and analysis
- Maintain calibration, consumables, reagents, and equipment
- Record raw data, registers, and logbooks accurately
- Preserve sample integrity during handling
- Follow lab hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices
- Support method verification/validation studies
- Adhere to HSE rules, reporting, and safety compliance
