Key Areas of Responsibility
The Senior Executive is responsible for maintaining stringent quality control across all stages of the manufacturing process, from raw materials to final packaging. This is crucial in securing food technology jobs within the company.
- Material Analysis: Analyze raw materials, intermediates (Blends), and EOL Finished Goods. Inspect packaging materials received at the units and market.
- Online QC & Compliance: Ensure online Quality Control (QC) during crucial stages like line startup and changeover (from water treatment to final packing).
- Laboratory Management: Calibrate all lab equipment, create calibration plans, and manage operations as per supplier manuals. Provide expertise for the standardization of chemical reagents.
- Issue Resolution: Communicate non-conformities to vendors and issue Corrective Action Requests (CAR). Analyze non-conformities using tools and arrive at Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Reporting: Analyze samples related to customer/consumer complaints and assist the Quality Manager with all quality jobs and MIS report preparation.
Essential Qualifications and Expertise For Food Technology Jobs
Qualification
- Post-graduate caliber or equivalent.
- Preferred Disciplines: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or DIFAT – paths that often lead to food technology jobs.
