Key Responsibilities
The Food Safety Auditor is responsible for verifying adherence to legal and internal standards, making this a pivotal for a food auditor jobs role:
- FSSAI Compliance: Conduct food safety audits for Food Business Operators (FBOs) in accordance with FSSAI requirements. Verify compliance with the FSS Act and all related rules and regulations.
- Specialized Audits: Conduct customized audits across various formats, including Catering, Base Kitchen Audits, and Live Kitchen Audits.
- Corrective Action (CA): Follow up on Non-Conformity (NC) closure for both external and internal audits. Ensure that developed corrective actions are implemented effectively and verify their effectiveness.
- Analysis & Improvement: Analyze identified non-conformities or complaints to support continuous improvement. In this way, you play a vital part in food auditor jobs.
- Training: Conduct training on food safety and hygiene practices for FBO staff.
- Travel: The role requires up to 50% travel within the city.
