Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and certified Food Analyst to perform advanced chemical and
instrumental analysis of food samples in compliance with FSSAI and national/international
standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform routine and specialized food testing as per FSSAI, BIS & AOAC standards
· Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, ICP-MS
· Interpret test results and ensure accurate documentation
· Prepare and review analytical reports
· Maintain NABL documentation and quality control records
· Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and regulatory guidelines
· Support audits and inspections (NABL, FSSAI, client audits)
Required Qualifications
· Must have passed the FSSAI Food Analyst Examination
· B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Applied Science or
relevant discipline
Experience Required
· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a food testing laboratory
· Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, ICP-MS is mandatory/preferred
Required Skills1+ Years
· Strong understanding of food safety regulations
· Excellent analytical and documentation skills
· Instrument calibration and troubleshooting
· Good communication and reporting abilities
