We are seeking an experienced Scientific Officer to join our Genomics Laboratory
team. The role involves molecular biology experimentation, sequencing workflows,
assay development, and data interpretation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform DNA/RNA extraction from various sample types.
- Execute Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Sanger sequencing workflows.
- Prepare sequencing libraries and ensure quality control of nucleic acids.
- Conduct assay development and validation for genomic tests.
- Troubleshoot molecular assays and laboratory workflows.
- Maintain documentation for SOPs, QC logs, and validation reports.
- Analyze sequencing data and prepare technical reports.
- Handle laboratory equipment, including PCR instruments, sequencers, and biosafety hoods.
- Work closely with the bioinformatics team to interpret data.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and accreditation guidelines.
Qualifications For Biotechnology Jobs
