Key Responsibilities

  • Drive bioinformatics strategies for translational studies across oncology, immunology, hematology, and neuroscience.
  • Integrate and analyze multi-omics datasets including WES/WGS, scRNA-seq, bulk RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, proteomics, and spatial transcriptomics.
  • Develop AI/ML models for predictive analytics, feature selection, and cross-modality integration.
  • Collaborate with biomarker scientists and clinical teams to refine trial hypotheses and development pathways.
  • Establish best practices for NGS QC workflows using tools like samtools and picard.
  • Build reproducible analytical pipelines using R, Python, Bioconductor, Linux HPC, and cloud systems.
  • Support study design, mechanism-of-action analysis, drug resistance evaluation, and data interpretation.
  • Prepare scientific reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and regulatory use.
  • Troubleshoot analytical or experimental challenges and propose strategic solutions.
  • Maintain a strong scientific publication record and translate literature insights into study impact.

Educational Requirements

  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, Engineering, Cancer Biology, Immunology, or related fields.
  • M.Sc. / M.Tech / M.Engg candidates with 3+ years relevant experience may also apply.
  • Minimum 2+ years postdoctoral or industry experience in informatics, ideally within oncology, immunology, hematology, or neuroscience drug development is required for senior positions.

Skills Required

  • Strong expertise in RNA-seq, DNA-seq, and multi-omics workflows
  • Proficiency in R, Python, ggplot2, and NGS tools
  • Experience with single-cell technologies, proteomics, and flow cytometry analytics
  • Strong machine learning and statistical modeling background
  • Knowledge of ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, mutation analysis, immunoassays, and phenotyping
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
