JOB DETAILS:

This NIAB recruitment is for a project titled “Development and validation of recombinant multivalent porcine viral vaccine and DIVA diagnostics” funded by ICAR-NASF under the supervision of Dr. Madhuri Subbiah.
The role is ideal for candidates looking for biotechnology jobs involving advanced molecular biology techniques, protein expression, and virus characterization.

  • Salary: ₹42,000/month (fixed)
  • Project Duration: 1 year (from January 2026), extendable based on performance
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences relevant to the project
    OR
  • Graduate degree in Agricultural Sciences or Technology from a recognized university (as per ICAR OM dated 7th December 2023)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidates should possess hands-on abilities such as:

  • RNA & DNA isolation
  • PCR and qPCR
  • Cloning and recombinant protein expression
  • Cell culture techniques
  • Virus propagation
  • Virus titration
  • In vitro characterization
