JOB DETAILS:
This NIAB recruitment is for a project titled “Development and validation of recombinant multivalent porcine viral vaccine and DIVA diagnostics” funded by ICAR-NASF under the supervision of Dr. Madhuri Subbiah.
The role is ideal for candidates looking for biotechnology jobs involving advanced molecular biology techniques, protein expression, and virus characterization.
- Salary: ₹42,000/month (fixed)
- Project Duration: 1 year (from January 2026), extendable based on performance
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences relevant to the project
OR - Graduate degree in Agricultural Sciences or Technology from a recognized university (as per ICAR OM dated 7th December 2023)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidates should possess hands-on abilities such as:
- RNA & DNA isolation
- PCR and qPCR
- Cloning and recombinant protein expression
- Cell culture techniques
- Virus propagation
- Virus titration
- In vitro characterization
