Project Associate-I (01 Position)
Job Details:
The selected candidate will assist in molecular biology, biotechnology, plant sciences, and bioinformatics work aligned with the DBT project. The role includes experimental work, data analysis, project documentation, and active participation in research
planning.Educational Requirements:
Candidates must hold an M.Sc. or M.Tech in:Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, Botany
Age Limit:
- Maximum: 35 years (on last date of application)
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules
Emoluments:
- ₹25,000/- + HRA (if not availing campus accommodation)
- HRA not applicable if staying in university quarters
Duration:
- Initially 6 months or until further orders
- Extension based on performance and project continuation
- Position is co-terminus with the project
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory experiments in molecular biology & biotechnology
- Assist in data collection, documentation, and analysis
- Support ongoing plant biology and enzyme research
- Participate in project meetings and research dissemination activities
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of molecular biology and biotechnology
- Experimental handling and analytical ability
