Role Overview
As a Scientific Writing Project Specialist, you will be the bridge between science and communication. Your role will support end-to-end project management, ensuring scientific publications, medical education deliverables, and internal communications are completed with precision, compliance, and quality. Job Responsibilities For Scientific Writing Job
- Provide project management support to the scientific writer for effective end-to-end delivery of assigned publications and medical education projects.
- Initiate and amend submissions based on review comments.
- Support communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Assist in submission and compliance activities while maintaining publication records in management tools (e.g., iEnvision, PromoMats, DAM).
- Support budget tracking, purchase orders, and financial documentation for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with scientific communication and medical content enhancement teams to ensure quality and timely output.
- Ensure compliance with organizational publication processes and standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education:
- Graduate degree (preferably in Science).
- An advanced or postgraduate qualification in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related disciplines is desirable.
- Experience:
- 1–2 years of professional experience in project management, scientific writing, or medical communications.
- Experience with publication or medical education deliverables preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with publication management tools such as iEnvision, PromoMats, DAM, or DataVision.
- Understanding of compliance and documentation workflows.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational efficiency.
