BRIC-NABI is an autonomous R&D institute under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The institute works across diverse research domains, including agricultural biotechnology, post-harvest technology, nanotechnology, computational biology, food safety, nutrition science, and biomanufacturing. This training program provides hands-on exposure for students pursuing Research Training and those following NABI recruitment updates in India’s agri-food innovation sector.

Students pursuing or holding degrees in the following are eligible:
- Life Sciences
- Basic Sciences

Bench Fee
- ₹5,000 per month + 18% GST
- Applicable for 4–6 months
- Fee to be paid via online transfer after selection
- Cancellation before start → 20% administrative deduction
- No refund if cancellation is requested during the training period
Selection Process
- Screening-cum-selection committee
- Based on academic merit and relevant experience
- The number of trainees will depend on scientist’s requirements
- Additional training opportunities available via funded programs (DST, DBT, INSA, NASI) without fee
Accommodation
- Hostel/Guest House (shared) may be provided at BRIC-NABI’s prescribed rates (subject to availability).
