Project Title: Development and Evaluation of Long-Read Metagenomic Next-Generation Sequencing (LRM-NGS) Assay for Diagnosis of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Children
Under: Dr. Rakesh Yadav, Associate Professor, Department of Medical Microbiology.
This project-based role involves extensive research in mycobacteriology, long-read sequencing, and next-generation molecular diagnostics. The selected candidate will work directly with the PI and research team to support a multi-centre clinical research study.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in execution of the ICMR-sponsored multi-centre research project

Educational Requirements:
- Postgraduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) with three years post-qualification experience, OR PhD in a relevant field
- Desirable Experience in Mycobacteriology
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of microbiology and molecular diagnostics
- Hands-on experience in mycobacteriology (preferred)
- Ability to work in research labs with precision and responsibility
- Good documentation, analytical, and communication skills
- Familiarity with NGS workflows is an added advantage
