Educational Requirements:
- PhD or M.Sc. in Microbiology, Plant Pathology, Entomology, or Biotechnology from a reputed institute or top-tier industrial organization.
- Experience:
- PhD: 3–10 years
- Masters: 10–15 year
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage early screening of natural substances and microbes for crop protection, abiotic stress, and nutrient efficiency.
- Design and execute biochemical and biological in-vitro assays to optimize screening outcomes.
- Conduct primary screens and adapt them for high-throughput screening (HTS).
- Build and maintain microbial and biomolecular storage facilities to ensure long-term integrity.
- Propagate microorganisms (fungi, bacteria) and maintain pest cultures in vitro.
- Document experimental results and report findings efficiently to the team lead.
