About the Project

This research is for a critical initiative titled: “Sustainable tea pest management in Assam: An IPM taskforce initiative,” funded by the Rainforest Alliance, New York City, USA. The project’s goal is to implement and evaluate Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies to ensure environmentally sound and economically viable tea production in Assam.

  • Project Duration: 1 Year (Temporary and co-terminus with the project).

    • Dikom, Dibrugarh, Assam

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Conducting field experiments and implementing treatments (pesticide/biopesticide).
  • Conducting regular pest and disease monitoring and data collection.
  • Communication with garden personnel.
  • Assisting in detailed report preparation.
