Job Overview:
The R&D Executive will handle the development and optimization of functional ingredient blends, conduct lab and pilot trials, evaluate sensory and stability properties, provide technical support to customers, maintain documentation, and support internal training and presentations.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in food application development, preferably with functional ingredient systems (e.g., stabilizers, emulsifiers).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize blends for various food applications, dairy, bakery, beverages, sauces, dressings, etc.
- Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale trials to evaluate texture, stability, mouthfeel, and sensory performance.
- Customize blends to meet customer requirements related to texture, viscosity, shelf life, nutrition, and processing conditions.
- Prepare blends/samples for designed Vitamin Minerals premixes.
- Evaluate individual RM physical, chemical & sensorial properties as needed.
- Provide technical support to customers — prepare prototypes, samples, and conduct onsite/virtual demonstrations.
- Maintain proper documentation of formulations, test results, and technical data sheets.
- Support the creation of technical literature, presentations, and training materials for internal teams and customers.
- Basic handling & maintenance of lab equipment & glassware for day-to-day activities.
