Key Job Nature & Work Location

- Core Work: Data compilation from classical literature (Indian systems of medicine), research articles, and databases.
- Fieldwork: Extensive travel and field surveys to remote localities across India for the collection of Ethnobotanical/veterinary data.
- Place of Work: Selected candidates will be posted to any Regional Centre/Botanic Garden of BSI across India, based on project needs and regional expertise preferences.
Essential Eligibility Criteria

Research Associate-II (RA-II) — The Senior Research Associate Job
- Qualification: Ph.D. in Botany/Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences.
- OR MD Ayurveda/MVSc with 3 years of research/teaching experience (after degree) AND at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
Project Associate – I (PA-I)
- Qualification: Master’s Degree in Botany/Life Sciences/Ayurveda/Environmental Sciences OR MA in Sanskrit.
Project Assistant (PA)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Botany/Life Sciences/Ayurveda/Environmental Sciences.
