Job Overview:
This role ensures that pharmaceutical excipients adhere to strict quality, documentation, safety, and compliance guidelines. It involves QA oversight, monitoring, document review, audit preparation, and coordination with Production, QC, and R&D teams.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, or related field
- Life science background preferred
- Prior experience in pharma-excipient QA highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily QA operations at Kotambi facility
- Maintain QMS compliant with cGMP and revised Schedule M
- Review BMRs, BPRs, COAs, and stability documents
- Conduct internal and vendor audits
- Ensure SOP adherence across production and packaging
- Monitor IPC results to pharmacopeial standards
- Support investigations (OOS/OOT), deviations, and CAPA
- Ensure data integrity (ALCOA+)
- Coordinate with Production, QC, and R&D
Skills Required:
- Strong QA documentation skills
- Understanding of FSSC/ISO frameworks
- Audit management
- Knowledge of pharmacopeial standards (IP/USP/EP)
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
