Position Details
- Name of the Post: Project Associate (02 positions)
- Fellowship: ₹25,000 + 24% HRA per month
- Essential Qualifications
- M.Sc./ M.Tech./B.Tech (or equivalent) in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Genetics
- Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA
- Candidates qualified in CSIR-UGC-NET (including lectureship), DBT-BET, or GATE will be preferred
- Strong programming skills are required
- Students awaiting results may apply with a provisional passing certificate
- Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must demonstrate:
- Programming ability in Python and familiarity with scripts in other languages
- Ability to understand algorithms and analyze Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data
- Capability to apply Machine Learning/Deep Learning techniques
- Strong record-keeping, organizational skills, team spirit, and readiness to learn new methodologies
Scope of Work
Selected candidates will work on:
- Developing bioinformatics tools and resources
- Genomic data analysis and structural bioinformatics
- Analyzing NGS datasets
- Applying machine learning/deep learning models to identify early disease biomarkers
