Project Details
AIIMS Delhi recruitment: seeking candidates for two separate, nationally important projects:
- Project 1 (DBT Funded): “Genome wide DNA methylation profiling to study the role of epigenetic modification in suicide completers in the Indian population.”
- Project 2 (ICMR Funded): “Establishment of a multicentre Identification portal and DNA database for the identification of unidentified dead bodies in India using molecular and bioinformatics tools and techniques.”
Position: Senior Project Associate
- Project Focus: DBT-funded project (Epigenetics in suicide completers).
- Number of Posts: 1.
- Tenure: Up to August 31, 2026.
- Approved Salary: Rs. 42,000 + HRA.
- Age Limit: 40 years.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must meet ONE of the following criteria:
- Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/Forensic Sciences. AND four years of research experience in industrial, academic, or S&T organizations. OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university AND four years of research experience in industrial, academic, or S&T organizations. OR
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D./MD/MS) in Science/Engineering/Technology from a recognized university.
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working in a molecular biology laboratory or Bioinformatics.
Position: Project Technical Support III
- Project Focus: ICMR-funded project (DNA Database for identification of unidentified dead bodies).
- Number of Posts: 1.
- Tenure: Up to October 31, 2026.
- Approved Salary: Rs. 28,000 + HRA.
- Age Limit: 35 years.
Essential Qualifications
- Three years’ Graduate in a relevant subject/field + three years’ experience, OR
- PG in a relevant subject/field (Forensic Science/Life Science/Genetics/Biotechnology).
Desirable Experience
- Experience working in a molecular biology laboratory.
