Project Fellow (Purely Temporary) – 01 Position
Job Details:
- Project Detail: “Exploring the role of the activation of Inflammasomes for better understanding of the Inflammasome-mediated Lung Carcinogenesis”.
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Nabendu Biswas
- Location: Department of Life Sciences, Presidency University, Kolkata
- Tenure: Initially for 6 months and extendable up to five years on satisfactory performance.
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. in any branch of Biological sciences/life sciences with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH)
- NET-JRF candidates will be given preference
Desirable Qualification:
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in:
- Cell culture
- Molecular biology techniques
- Mouse handling
- Qualified NET or equivalent exam
- NET is necessary for enrollment in the PhD program at Presidency University
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory-based experiments
- Perform cell culture and molecular biology procedures
- Assist in project-related research activities
- Maintain proper research documentation
- Support research work related to inflammasome activation studies
