Project Title: To Investigate the Role of Endocannabinoids in Gut-Brain Axis and Differential Role of Cannabinoid Receptors in the Development of Metabolic Dysfunction under the Investigator Initiated Research Proposals scheme, with Sanction No. ICMR/16/1990/SGP-2023

Principle Investigator (PI): Dr. Mahendra Bishnoi, Scientist-F

Educational Qualification:

  • First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees.
  • Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees with PhD.
  • For Engineering / IT / CS – First Class Graduate Degree of Four Years.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with in-vivo (mice) & in-vitro (cell culture) models in obesity, T2D, neuroscience
  • Molecular biology: gene expression, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry
  • ≥1 year research experience
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques like HPLC

  • No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

  • In the event of special circumstances, candidates may request the project investigator (via email) to conduct their interviews online.
