Job Description (Roles & Responsibilities):
·Perform Environmental Monitoring (EM) including air, surface, and personnel monitoring.
·Conduct Water Analysis – MLT, BET, pH, conductivity & sterility tests.
·Execute microbial limit tests, microbial assays, and organism identification.
·Sampling and microbial testing of raw materials, intermediates, finished products & utilities.
·Operate and maintain microbiology laboratory instruments.
·Prepare and review microbiological documentation, test reports, and logs.
·Ensure strict compliance with GMP, GLP & regulatory guidelines.
·Support audits (internal/external) and assist in CAPA related activities.
·Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety procedures in the microbiology lab.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in MLT, BET, sterility testing, EM & microbial identification.
- Good understanding of GMP, GDP & regulatory expectations (USFDA/WHO/ISO).
- Ability to handle routine lab work with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of microbiology documentation, LIMS/ELN will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Should be able to work collaboratively with QA/QC and production teams.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
